Printer – Textiles Manufacturer at Brookwood Finishing – Charlestown, RI

Our Print Shop, which utilizes a rotary screen printing machine to print designs on textiles, is currently seeking a Print Operator (PRINTER) to run the entire print operation.

Job Summary

• Performs machine setup
• Ensures production of quality print products at maximum print speed (up to 65-70 yards per min)
• Ensures all facets of the machine are properly adjusted before running
• Maintains machine while running 1st quality goods
• Ensures machine is cleaned when necessary and work area is kept organized, clean, and safe
• Assists in sewing up rolls or A-frames
• Breaks down and cleans machine/components at end of production in preparation for next run
• Performs necessary preventative maintenance duties on the machine
• Keeps necessary records
• Detects and reports improper operation, faulty equipment, inferior quality, and other unusual conditions
• 3+ years “print operations” experience required, textile manufacturing preferred
• Must be capable of setting up 12-screen print job including responsibility for exact registration of print
• Read and write English
• Good sense of color
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Lifting up to 75lbs
