Salary Range: $69,000 - $108,000 depending on experience

• Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
• Analyze tooling failures and implement corrective actions to improve tool life and performance.
• Collaborate with production and design teams to ensure tooling meets product specifications and manufacturing requirements.
• Manage tooling projects from concept through production, including vendor selection and budget control.
• Perform preventative maintenance planning and oversee repairs of manufacturing tools.
• Evaluate new tooling technologies and materials for potential application to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Develop and maintain tooling documentation, including CAD models, drawings, and specifications.

• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for tooling design and analysis.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., stamping, injection molding, machining) and material properties.
• Proven experience in tooling design, build, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to apply DFM/DFA principles to optimize tool performance and manufacturability.
• Knowledge of GD&T and metrology for tool inspection and quality control.

• Experience with advanced simulation software (e.g., Moldflow, Auto Form).
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Python, VBA) for automation or data analysis related to tooling.
• Knowledge of additive manufacturing applications for tooling components or prototyping.
