Key Responsibilities- Perform routine preventative maintenance and calibration of robotic systems.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, mechanical, and software issues in industrial robots.
- Install, configure, and test new robotic equipment and peripheral devices.
- Modify and optimize robot programs to enhance production efficiency and quality.
- Ensure all robotic operations adhere to safety protocols and company standards.
- Document maintenance activities, repair histories, and program changes accurately.
- Provide technical support and training to production operators on robotic system operation.
- Associate's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related technical field
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience with industrial robot maintenance, programming, and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in robot programming languages and teach pendant operation for major brands (e.g., FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Universal Robots)
- Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills for electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and software issues
- Basic understanding of PLC logic, HMI systems, and industrial networking
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals
- Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for inspection or guidance.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python) for data acquisition, analysis, or custom tool development.
- Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ether Net/IP, PROFINET) and IIoT principles.
- Ability to interpret CAD models or experience with robot simulation software.
