Salary Range: $53,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities- Perform precise dimensional measurements of manufactured parts and assemblies using various metrology equipment.
- Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot a wide range of measurement tools and systems (e.g., CMMs, calipers, micrometers, vision systems).
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications to ensure accurate part inspection and conformance.
- Document measurement results, calibration data, and inspection reports accurately and thoroughly.
- Identify and resolve measurement discrepancies or equipment malfunctions, escalating complex issues as needed.
- Develop and optimize measurement programs and procedures for CMMs and other automated inspection systems.
- Support root cause analysis efforts related to dimensional non-conformances and process improvements.
- Proficiency in operating and interpreting readings from precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMMs, optical comparators).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) symbols.
- Strong understanding of metrology principles, calibration techniques, and measurement uncertainty.
- Experience with metrology software and data analysis for quality control and process improvement.
- Associate's degree in Metrology, Manufacturing Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS).
- ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) or Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification.
- Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for process control.
- Demonstrated experience with automated metrology systems or robotic inspection integration.
