ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have:

- Previous charge experience
- Experience in circulating nursing
- Skills in conscious sedation

- Experience with orthopedic and robotic-assisted procedures
- Familiarity with Epic charting

Description:

This position is for an OR Circulator RN in the Operating Room. The shift will be Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. On-call requirements include 7 days per month. Call hours are Monday to Friday from 5 PM to 7 AM and Saturday and Sunday from 7 AM to 7 AM. The RN will be responsible for circulating during surgeries.

Preferred skills include experience with general, orthopedic, cataract, and endoscopic procedures. The candidate should have experience with robotic-assisted surgeries and telemetry. The unit sees patients of varying ages, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support is available from various services, including physical therapy and pharmacy. A typical daily census is around 10 patients. There are 3 operating rooms and 13 beds in this unit.

Patients commonly diagnosed include those requiring colon cancer screenings, fracture repairs, joint scopes, and total joint replacements. Experience in charge nursing is a requirement for this role. All required certifications must be active prior to the start date. Candidates must submit any time-off requests at the time of their application.
