Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Lead internal and external quality audits, including supplier audits, and manage non-conformance and corrective action processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, process efficiency, and reduce defects.
- Oversee all product inspection, testing, and quality control activities throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.
- Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Provide training and guidance to manufacturing teams on quality procedures, standards, and best practices.
- Monitor key quality performance indicators (KPIs), analyze data, and report on quality metrics to management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and customer quality specifications.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge and practical experience with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management systems.
- Proficiency in quality methodologies and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis).
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop quality teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Lead Auditor certification
- Proficiency with advanced statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
- Experience implementing or maintaining industry-specific quality standards (e.g., AS9100, IATF 16949, ISO 13485)
