As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. You will play a key role in financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting, exceptional attention to detail, and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
• Coordinate and assist with external audits
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and work with our outside firm to prepare tax returns
• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency
• Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and best practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA certification preferred
• 2+ years of experience in accounting or related field
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of sales taxes for multiple states
