OverviewOur client, a well-established and growing company based in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization while advancing your career in corporate accounting.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Perform general ledger reconciliations and journal entries
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
- Coordinate with external auditors and support audit activities
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff and support team development
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Net Suite, SAP) and Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
