OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Personnel-Partner-Equity-Opex Accounting Senior Manager with experience in Workday Financials to join our growing finance team. The individual will lead the Personnel‑Partner‑Equity and Operating Expenses accounting team within the National Office Accounting Department, overseeing day‑to‑day operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing key accounting processes in Workday, and supervising the team.
Responsibilities- Oversee and verify accounting business processes for Personnel Related Costs, Employee Advances & Employee Expenses Payable, Recruiting Expenses, Professional Development, Partner Related Costs, Equity Transactions, Operating Expenses, Technology Costs, and Related Prepaid Expenses.
- Establish and maintain verification and review procedures to ensure appropriate results on a routine basis.
- Maintain monthly close procedures, reconciliations, and specific analyses for all accounting processes.
- Validate and approve all Workday dimension and account posting rule changes.
- Integrate acquired, merged, and new businesses into accounting processes.
- Prepare budget information and design/implement account reconciliation applications.
- Design and validate reports, collaborate with multiple teams to support Workday functionality, and streamline accounting processes.
- Mentor team members, foster a collaborative culture, and partner with cross‑functional teams (ERP, Treasury, FP&A, Real Estate, HR).
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 8+ years of relevant accounting experience with advanced understanding of GAAP.
- Proficiency in Workday Financials, including project and revenue accounting.
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Master's Degree.
- 10+ years of relevant accounting experience.
Pursuant to the pay transparency laws of New York State and other local ordinances, the salary range displayed is for the New York markets. The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual. Total compensation and benefits consist of salary, group health plan benefits, 401(k), profit‑sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave.
New York Salary Range:
- NY Minimum Salary (USD): $126,900
- NY Maximum Salary (USD): $263,500
