Flashii is looking for an experienced and detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to join our Client’s accounting team. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy for financial statements through the timely preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and compliance with tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with prepaid and accrual accounting, deferred revenue recognition, intercompany transactions, payroll journal entries, and a working knowledge of various tax types, including sales and use taxes and gross receipts/revenue taxes.

• Prepare, review, and reconcile prepaid expenses and accruals, ensuring appropriate recognition in accordance with company policy and GAAP.
• Manage and reconcile deferred revenue accounts, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and compliance with relevant standards.
• Prepare and post intercompany journal entries, reconcile intercompany balances, and assist with intercompany eliminations for consolidated reporting.
• Prepare and reconcile payroll journal entries, ensuring accurate recording of wages, taxes, and benefits in the general ledger.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing and payment of sales and use taxes, as well as gross receipts/gross revenue taxes, including preparation of related returns and supporting documentation.
• Support the annual external audit and other compliance audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.
• Participate in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Analyze account variances and prepare explanations for management.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with other departments, including Payroll and HR, to gather necessary information and resolve accounting issues.

• Minimum of 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong understanding of GAAP.
• Experience with accounting for companies with multiple subsidiaries and foreign currency.
• Solid experience with prepaids, accruals, deferred revenue, intercompany accounting, and payroll journal entries.
• Hands‑on experience preparing and filing sales and use tax and gross receipts/revenue tax returns.
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (Strong Net Suite preferred) and strong Excel skills to include Pivots and V-LOOKUPs.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
