Overview
Accounts Payable - Accounting Specialist at Mills Auto Group in Charlotte, NC. This role oversees the Accounts Payable function, including posting invoices, processing payments, and tracking vendor statements.
Responsibilities- Post invoices and process payments
- Track vendor statements and reconcile them to the general ledger
- Process monthly AP checks and assist with month-end and year-end processes
- Maintain W-9s on all vendors and ST-5s on wholesale customers
- Assist with other administrative duties as needed
- Previous automotive accounting experience is preferred, but not required
- Proficiency with CDK and Excel is preferred
- Ability to communicate with department heads for invoice approvals and customers when necessary
