Position Overview

The Accounting Assistant will play a key role in supporting day‑to‑day accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, organization, and efficiency across financial processes. This role is ideal for someone who is detail‑driven, comfortable working in Quick Books and Excel, and enjoys contributing to a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including invoice processing, billing, collections, and payment tracking.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date financial records within Quick Books
    .
  • Handle invoicing, expense tracking, and bank/credit card reconciliations.
  • Prepare and maintain Excel reports using formulas, pivot tables, and other analytical tools.
  • Assist with month‑end close processes and general ledger maintenance.
  • Support budgeting, audits, and special accounting projects as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and standard accounting procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve accounting workflows.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, with strong AP/AR exposure.
  • Proficiency in Quick Books and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
    .
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong communication, problem‑solving, and follow‑through skills.
