Job Overview - Senior Accountant - 33913
We're seeking a Senior Accountant to play a key role in our clients growing accounting function. This role supports monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, prepares consolidated financial statements, and ensures compliance with GAAP. We're looking for a detail-oriented professional who is eager to make an impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage assigned areas of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close to ensure timely and accurate reporting
* Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements in compliance with GAAP
* Support accounting for capitalized software, leases (ASC 842), intercompany activity, and renewable energy projects (ASC 606)
* Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, payroll, legal, and operations to ensure accuracy and consistency
* Assist with external audits and maintain accounting policies and procedures
* Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
* Support special projects and technical accounting documentation
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's preferred)
* CPA required
* 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
* Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
* Experience with Net Suite
