Responsibilities- Participate in buy‑side and sell‑side transaction advisory engagements, providing financial and due diligence assistance, and accounting advisory services.
- Document key findings and analysis in written reports.
- Participate in client meetings and site visits, interacting with top‑level management to obtain pertinent information for financial analysis.
- Prepare detailed financial analysis to help clients evaluate acquisition decisions and financing requirements.
- Interact with other functional areas of the practice, including tax, audit, and other consulting practices.
- Assist in preparing proposals and engagement letters.
- Represent the firm in community activities and professional associations.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- CPA certification.
- Minimum of two years experience in an audit or transaction advisory practice within a national or regional public accounting or consulting firm.
- Supervision / team leadership experience.
- Ability to direct and manage client engagements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Networking and communicating with C‑level executives.
- Evaluated as an exceptional performer in current position.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge combined with business acumen.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with internal team members and external clients.
- Self‑starter with confidence in client interactions and questioning.
- Ability to work within tight deadlines and deliver results in a timely manner.
- Application of critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
- Occasional travel for work using a personal vehicle.
- Ability to work moderate overtime throughout the year with heavier overtime required during certain business cycles.
- Physical requirement: lift boxes, mail, etc. not exceeding 20 lbs.
