Senior Property Accountant

In this role, you'll be responsible for the financial reporting and accounting activities for a portfolio of residential properties while partnering closely with operations, ownership groups, and leadership. • Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
• Perform month-end close activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Complete bank reconciliations and monitor cash balances
• Calculate investor distributions and maintain reporting packages for ownership groups
• Record depreciation and amortization schedules
• Manage AP review and approval activities
• Support development accounting, draws, and project reporting
• Prepare sales & use tax calculations and filings
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• 3-5+ years of accounting experience, ideally within real estate, property management, or a related industry
• Strong understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting processes
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities
• Experience with property management or accounting software such as Real Page, One Site, or Sage is a plus
• Self-starter with excellent attention to detail and communication skills
