Type Direct PlacementA growing organization is seeking an experienced Director of Accounting to lead its accounting function and help support the continued growth of the business.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for an accounting professional with experience overseeing accounting for a multi-entity organization. The Director will oversee financial reporting, month-end close, consolidations, and accounting operations while leading a high-performing team. This individual will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional partners to ensure the accuracy of financial information and continuously improve accounting processes.

Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting functions across a multi-entity organization.

Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including consolidations.

Ensure accurate and timely financial statements and reporting across multiple entities.

Manage and develop the accounting team.

Oversee reconciliations, general ledger activity, intercompany accounting, and accounting operations.

Provide guidance on technical accounting and U.S. GAAP matters.

Coordinate the annual external audit and work with external accounting partners.

Develop and improve accounting policies, procedures, controls, and processes.

Partner with FP&A and other Finance leaders on reporting and business initiatives.

Support accounting systems and process improvement initiatives.

Provide financial insight and accounting guidance to senior leadership.
