Controller, Accounting, Financial Compliance

Controller - (up to $150k + bonus).

We are seeking an experienced Controller to oversee the organization's accounting operations and financial reporting functions. This individual will be responsible for managing the month-end close process, maintaining accurate financial records, performing complex account reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting knowledge, hands-on Net Suite experience, and a detail-oriented, investigative approach to identifying and resolving accounting discrepancies.

• Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Oversee general ledger accounting and financial reporting activities
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Analyze financial data and investigate variances, discrepancies, and unusual transactions
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting procedures
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
• Support external audits and coordinate audit requests
• Manage cash flow reporting and balance sheet integrity
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and accounting efficiencies
• Partner with leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations
• Utilize Net Suite to manage accounting operations, reporting, and data accuracy

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities
• Strong experience managing month-end close processes
• Advanced account reconciliation and balance sheet analysis skills
• Demonstrated ability to investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
• Experience supporting audits and maintaining internal controls
