Senior Accountant - Financial Transformation

We're working with a growing financial services business looking for a Senior Accountant to join its Finance team and help improve how Finance operates, reports and uses technology.

This is a slightly different Senior Accountant opportunity - alongside core accounting and reporting, you'll get exposure to finance systems, automation, data, process improvement and cross-functional projects.

• Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial close & reporting
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
• Help identify and eliminate manual / inefficient Finance processes
• Support finance systems and ERP enhancements
• Improve reporting, data quality and financial processes
• Assist with automation and technology initiatives
• Support testing, reconciliation and implementation of new systems
• Help strengthen Finance controls and documentation
• Work with Accounting, FP&A, Technology, Treasury and Operations
• Support senior Finance leadership on strategic projects

• 3-7 years of accounting / finance experience
• Strong accounting fundamentals and financial reporting experience
• Experience with ERP / finance systems
• Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills
• Genuine interest in technology, automation, data or process improvement
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Financial services / insurance experience preferred
