Controller, Accounting, Financial Compliance

Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to lead our accounting and financial reporting functions. This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, managing the month-end and year-end close processes, and delivering accurate financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong accounting knowledge, a process-improvement mindset, and the ability to partner effectively with senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets

Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes

Prepare and review financial statements and management reports

Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities

Develop and maintain financial controls and accounting procedures

Coordinate audits and serve as the primary contact for external auditors and tax advisors

Analyze financial results and provide recommendations to improve performance and profitability

Support strategic planning and decision-making with accurate financial data and insights

Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff
