Job Overview - Certified Public Accountant - 34496 A well-established Charlotte accounting firm is seeking a CPA to join its team in a tax-focused role
. This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA with some tax experience who is looking to deepen their expertise, take on meaningful client work, and grow within a close-knit, collaborative firm environment.
Candidates with lighter tax experience or a broader corporate accounting background will also be considered for the right fit.
Responsibilities- Prepare individual and business tax returns.
- Assist with corporate, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns.
- Review financial information and supporting documents.
- Assist with tax planning and research.
- Work directly with clients to gather needed information.
- Assist with accounting and financial reporting as needed.
- Manage multiple clients and deadlines.
- Maintain organized work papers and client records.
- Active CPA license required.
- 2+ years of accounting or tax experience preferred.
- Some tax experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals.
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ultra Tax experience is a plus, but not required.
- Candidates with a corporate accounting background and interest in tax are encouraged to apply.
