Temp Litigation Legal Assistant (Onsite) — Charlotte, NC (Dilworth)

About the role

Our client—an established litigation practice in Charlotte—needs a Litigation Legal Assistant to start immediately and support trial prep for an early‑January matter.

What you’ll do

• Manage high‑volume case documents and litigation files with top‑tier organization
• Draft, format, and proof correspondence, pleadings, and discovery materials
• Coordinate calendars, deadlines, and court dates; assist with trial preparation
• Communicate with attorneys, staff, and vendors with professionalism and urgency
• Support the broader litigation team; provide overflow help and receptionist backup as needed

What we’re looking for

• Legal assistant or litigation support experience
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel; Office 2010 or later),
  PDF software
  , and familiarity with document management tools (DM),
  Workshare
  , and Juris Suite
• Exceptional attention to detail
  , accurate typing and proofreading, and the ability to juggle multiple matters in a fast‑paced environment
• Clear, professional communication and a collaborative mindset

Location: Fully onsite in the Dilworth area, just outside Uptown (free parking)

Compensation: $24–$26/hr
