Overview
Our client, a professional services organization, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Administrative Support Specialist to provide critical support across document creation, editing, and day-to-day administrative operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in producing high-quality written materials, and can confidently juggle multiple priorities at once.
Compensation: $55,
Key Responsibilities- Edit, proofread, and format a wide range of professional documents including reports, proposals, presentations, and internal communications.
- Assist with drafting and refining written content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency in tone and style.
- Manage and prioritize multiple administrative tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Provide general administrative support including scheduling, coordination, and document management.
- Support ad-hoc projects as needed, often requiring flexibility and quick turnaround.
- Maintain organization of digital files and documentation to ensure accessibility and version control.
- Collaborate with team members across the organization to ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
- 2+ years of experience in an administrative, executive support, or professional services environment.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and remain organized in a deadline‑driven setting.
- High level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel); experience with document management tools is a plus.
- Self‑starter with a proactive mindset and willingness to assist wherever needed.
- Experience supporting consultants, attorneys, accountants, or other professional services teams.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and shifting workloads.
Works as a full‑time employee (30+ weekly hours, +130 hours per month). Medical plan offered is BCBSNC Blue Options PPO with pre‑taxed premiums and a 90‑day waiting period. Medical, Dental, and Vision plans are available. Sherpa pays a portion of the employee‑only premium for medical.
