We are a U.S. immigration law firm committed to changing as many immigrants' lives as possible through exceptional legal representation and an outstanding client experience. Our CEO leads the firm across offices in North Carolina and Michigan. She thinks fast, moves quickly between decisions, and values her privacy. She needs one person who runs her calendar, travel, and personal affairs so well that her time goes to work only she can do.
What you will do:- Start each day by giving her a clear picture of her day and what needs her attention
- Manage her calendar in Outlook and keep her priorities in place when meetings move
- Turn what she says in meetings and in passing into tasks and follow-up, tracked in Teams and Planner
- Keep a clear record of what was asked and what was done
- Manage travel, including traveling with her, and handle personal and household matters
- Keep the decisions her leadership team needs from her moving
- 5 or more years supporting a senior executive, CEO, or business owner, including personal and household matters
- A record of handling confidential business and personal information
- Demonstrated skill in Microsoft 365:
Outlook, Teams, and Planner or a similar task tool - Availability on site in Charlotte on fixed hours, with travel up to 25% and occasional evening or weekend tasks planned in advance
- Legal experience is welcome but not required
- Keeping a confidence is second nature, with colleagues as much as outsiders
- You ask the question rather than guess what someone meant
- A quiet day means you work the list, not wait for instructions
- You would rather bring a recommendation than make someone else’s decision
- You are steady when someone asks you a lot of direct questions quickly
- You like fixed hours and keep them
You build relationships quickly and like to be at the center of the office. Here, trust is earned over time, and the work is done largely out of view.
People stay here because of who they work with; our team consistently tells us they like the people they work with and for. Our values run through how we hire and how we work, starting with honesty: integrity and accountability, respect and inclusion, professional growth, and outstanding client service.
- Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance; paid time off and paid holidays; and a 401(k) with company match.
