Base Pay Range

$15.00/hr - $15.00/hr

Part‑time, open availability, including some weekends. Must have a valid/active driver’s license and own reliable transportation.

BDS Dealer Pros began in 1996 as a one‑man operation, specializing in automotive cloth, vinyl, and leather repairs. Since then, we have grown to the largest automotive detail and reconditioning company in central NC. Our customers include Leith Inc, Valley Auto World, Bryan Honda, and many other high‑volume franchise dealerships.

Responsible for properly cleaning and photographing pre‑owned and new vehicles and reconditioning customer vehicles by performing the following duties.

• Obtain customer and manager instructions regarding the type of service requested and provide additional information as appropriate.
• Perform the requested service including preparing, cleaning, and repairing the vehicles.
• Operate all equipment including vacuum, pressure washer, rotary buffer, dual action polisher, and vapor steam machine extractor in an efficient manner.
• Perform detailing as needed and requested, including washing, drying, wheel and tire cleaning, clay bar, polishing and protecting paint, leather cleaning and conditioning, upholstery cleaning, carpet cleaning, and paint correction.
• Photograph new and pre‑owned vehicles as needed after proper training.
• Promote the company’s image by uniformed personal appearance, conduct, and communication.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work environment.
• Maintain all chemicals and materials assigned.
• Record accurate information, including stock numbers, vehicle identification numbers, make, model, color of vehicles being serviced, and the service performed, and provide information to management daily.
• Cleans shop area, including sweeping, garbage removal, and cleaning floors.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

This position requires regular physical activity, including standing, walking, using hands, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, balancing, and working in loud environments. It also involves exposure to strong chemical smells, occasional sitting, lifting or moving up to 75 pounds, and the need for specific vision abilities such as close and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

The work area is outdoors, exposed to the elements, with a roof but no enclosed walls. Measures are in place to maintain warmth during colder months.
