We are partnering with one of our local clients to recruit a Lube Technician for their growing automotive operation. Our client is an established, privately owned automotive dealership in Charlotte with a large and diverse inventory of pre-owned vehicles.

They are looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined individual who takes pride in their work and wants to continue developing their automotive skills.

The Lube Technician will support the inspection, maintenance, and preparation of vehicles within the dealership’s inventory.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their automotive career who enjoys working with cars and trucks, is comfortable using basic tools, and wants to gain broader hands-on experience in a professional shop environment.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

• Perform oil and filter changes.
• Complete tire rotations and basic tire inspections.
• Check and top off fluids as needed.
• Inspect brakes, tires, belts, hoses, filters, batteries, and other common maintenance items.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance.

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to safely operate basic automotive tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Dependable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience performing oil changes, tire rotations, and basic vehicle maintenance.
• Previous experience in a dealership, independent repair shop, tire shop, fleet operation, or similar automotive environment.
• Automotive technical training or certifications.

Professional shop experience is helpful, but it is not the only way to develop strong automotive skills.

If you have meaningful hands-on experience working on cars or trucks at home, through school, or as a hobbyist, we encourage you to apply.

We are looking for someone with the right attitude, mechanical interest, dependability, and willingness to learn. A motivated person can develop quickly with the right opportunity.

Don’t meet every requirement? We still encourage you to apply. We’re seeking the right character and attitude first, recognizing that a smart, motivated person can upskill and learn quickly.

• Competitive and negotiable pay based on experience.
• Hourly compensation.
• Health insurance.
• Weekly pay.
• Opportunity to gain broader automotive experience and grow into more advanced technician responsibilities.
