Advanced Diagnostic Automotive Technician

We are looking for Advanced Diagnostic Automotive Technicians who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for must seek out solutions to tough problems and have a strong passion for doing what’s right for our guests.

• High-level operation of specialized diagnostic equipment, including lab scopes (e.g., Pico Scope), multi-meters, and factory/aftermarket scan tools to pinpoint root causes.
• Perform control module reprogramming, software updates, and ADAS calibrations.
• Conduct thorough, accurate digital vehicle inspections to identify immediate safety concerns and future maintenance needs, clearly communicating findings to the service advisor team.
• Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
• Serve as the shop’s go-to technical resource, assisting and mentoring mid-level or apprentice technicians with complex hurdles to elevate the whole team.
• Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively.
• Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
• Work together with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results.

• Positive attitude and a desire to serve guests
• 7+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
• Exceptional ability to read, interpret and trace complex electrical wiring diagrams and factory service information.
• Proven track record of successfully diagnosing all makes and models (domestic and import); experience with European vehicles or Hybrid/EV systems is a major plus.
• ASE L1 or Equivalent Certifications preferred
• Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
• Meet or exceed hourly goals
• Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
• Professional appearance and strong communication
• A desire for long-term career development.

• Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
• Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
• Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair
• Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
• Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
• Drive manual transmissions vehicles
• Efficiently navigate a computer
