We are currently looking for an Application Developer/Programmer to add to our team in Charlotte. This employee will design and code functional software programs and applications while collaborating with teams to set specifications, write code, conduct testing and troubleshoot applications. In this position, you will be required to:

  • Code, test and troubleshoot programs utilizing the appropriate hardware, database, and programming technology.
  • Analyze, define, and document requirements for new features or modifications in collaboration with the project champion and/or impacted user group.
  • Write and maintain documentation to describe application intent, logic, testing, changes, and corrections.
  • Evaluate application performance and address issues appropriately.
  • Document issues and resolutions for future reference.
  • Provide project status updates to the development team and stakeholders.
  • Participate in code review.
  • Provide application support to end users and colleagues as needed.
  • Learn new coding languages and technologies as needed.
  • Assist in the establishment and implementation of short and long‑range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding the information being processed, stored, or accessed.
  • Produce quality materials within tight time frames and simultaneously manage several projects.
  • Provide best in class end user support and experience.

To be successful in this position, an ideal candidate will have:

  • A combination of the completion of a bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science and/or one to three years of experience in the field.
  • Proficiency in the programming languages Angular, HTML/CSS, C#, and SQL.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the following is preferred: PHP, Power BI, Azure and/or AWS cloud.
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
