Technical Business Manager

Our client, a leading technology organization, is seeking a Senior Technical Business Manager to join their team as a contractor (potential to convert to a FTE). As a Senior Technical Business Manager, you will be part of the executive leadership support team, playing a crucial role in the daily operation and strategic planning of the technology function. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational skills, analytical thinking, and a strong ability to communicate effectively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Technical Business Manager

Location: Charlotte (Hybrid - Onsite 2-3 times a week)

Pay Range: Competitive

What's the Job?

• Prepare, track, and manage strategic initiatives, OKRs, and departmental goals.

• Build and maintain high-quality executive dashboards, business updates, and decision-support decks.

• Manage the technology department’s budgeting, forecasting, and headcount planning in partnership with Finance and HR.

• Provide oversight and reporting on key technology programs and projects.

• Develop polished PowerPoint presentations and reports for internal and external consumption.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

• 10+ years of experience in a technical business management, COO office, or business analyst capacity.

• Proven experience as a cross-functional Business Manager or COO within a fast-paced environment.

• Deep expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

• Exceptional attention to detail, communication skills, and business judgment.
