This Role

Senior Manager of Commodity Management and Sourcing will lead the Aftermarket Residential HVAC team. Lead the team to negotiate and manage supplier contracts to achieve cost savings and enhance supplier performance while managing cross‑functional teams and building collaborative relationships. Lead the team to setting objectives and working with others on executing and implementing supply chain strategy. Responsible for developing and improving commodity management and sourcing processes to enhance price, quality, timing, and reliability of Carrier outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Category Strategy Development:
    Develop and execute a comprehensive category strategy for Aftermarket parts, aligned with the organization’s overall procurement and business objectives. Conduct market research

    Lo analysis to identify new opportunities, potential risks, and emerging trends within the Aftermarket HVAC industry.
  • Supplier Management:
    Lead supplier identification, evaluation, selection, and relationship management activities. Establish and maintain strong partnerships with key suppliers to ensure the highest quality, competitive pricing, and timely delivery of steel raw materials, components and products.
  • Negotiation and Contract Management:
    Negotiate favorable terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers. Draft and manage contracts and agreements to protect the organization’s interests while promoting mutually beneficial partnerships in a cross‑functional sourcing environment.
  • Cost Optimization:
    Implement cost reduction initiatives and continuously monitor market dynamics to capitalize onavilities without compromising quality.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including Planning, WHQ Supply Chain, Engineering, Product Development, and Operations, to understand their requirements and ensure alignment between procurement and business objectives.
  • Supplier Performance Management:
    Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for suppliers, evaluate their performance regularly, and work collaboratively to address any performance issues.
  • Team Leadership:
    Build and lead Aftermarket key global vendors on a high‑performing cross‑functional team of procurement professionals. Provide guidance, strategy, and influence others.
  • Work Process:
    Reevaluate and improve the sourcing actual state of work. Responsible for the management of the full integration with COE (Center of Excellence) and leverage future potential synergies.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7+ years of experience in strategic supply chain, sourcing, procurement or commodity management
  • Travel: 20%
Preferred Qualifications
  • Aftermarket strategic sourcing for a_accounting manufacturing organization
  • MBA
  • Knowledge on ERP (SAP) system and PBI
  • Advanced user knowledge陕西 in MS Excel
  • Demonstrated track record of driving significant cost savings through strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier optimization, andẹn contract negotiation.
  • Strong transported analysis skill sect staff with capabilities to identify and capitalize on market opportunities while mitigating supply chain risks.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • English communication (written and verbal)
  • Presentation skills, able to influence stakeholders at all levels
