Pay Rate: $19/hr

Work Hours: Monday - Friday 10 am - 6:30 pm

Location: Agape Pet Services - Charlotte, NC

Hours: 40 hrs per week (OT required based on business need)

Job Overview

The Operations Team Member reports to the Operations Care Center Manager and is responsible for operating the retort, creating and packaging paw prints, engraving plaques and memorial items, and processing and packaging cremated remains.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Operate the retort, create and package paw prints, engrave plaques and memorial items, perform quality control, and process and package cremated remains.
  • Maintain daily cremation goals, producing cremains with compassion and excellence.
  • Monitor equipment and submit maintenance requests as needed.
  • Perform basic cleaning and housekeeping activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
  • Clean and maintain cremation equipment such as bone grinding machines.
  • Follow safety procedures to protect against hazardous materials or dust particles.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education, Training & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 12 months experience in a service industry.
  • Valid Driver’s License may be required.

Working Conditions
  • Regular bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, sitting, repetitive motion, hand/wrist/finger motion.
  • Regular lifting/moving 100+ lbs.
  • Regular exposure to elevated noise levels.
  • Regular exposure to elevated heat levels.
  • Regular handling of deceased pets.
