ROLE PURPOSE Own the product direction and delivery roadmap for Wealth Brokerage capabilities spanning client and teammate experiences, brokerage operations, workflow, data and analytics. Translate business outcomes, regulatory obligations and technology opportunities into prioritised epics, features and measurable releases.
This Product Manager balances business, technology, risk and design priorities to deliver secure, resilient and differentiated capabilities for Wealth Brokerage. The role works closely with Product Owners, engineering, architecture, operations, data, cyber security, risk, legal and compliance to convert strategic objectives into an executable product roadmap.
The role must operate effectively at both strategic and tactical levels. This includes defining product outcomes, analysing client and operational needs, shaping investment priorities, resolving delivery constraints and working directly with Agile teams through discovery, Planning Increment (PI) planning, build, testing, release and adoption.
The successful candidate will understand modern application delivery in a regulated financial-services environment. Relevant technology includes .NET and C# applications, SQL Server data platforms, Microsoft Azure services, Python-based data and automation solutions, low-code platforms and workflow/case-management capabilities.

Scope of responsibility

Wealth Brokerage client, adviser, operations and supervisory experiences, including digital journeys and internal servicing tools.
Product strategy and roadmaps for application modernisation, workflow automation, data integration, analytics and operational controls.
Coordination across legacy and modern platforms, including on-premises applications, Azure-hosted services, vendor platforms and enterprise shared services.
Business and technology outcomes such as improved client and teammate experience, straight-through processing, reduced manual effort, stronger controls, improved data quality and increased platform resilience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain a product vision and strategic roadmap for Wealth Brokerage capabilities, aligned to business objectives, client needs, operational priorities and technology strategy.

Research and analyse the needs of Wealth Brokerage clients, advisers, operations teams, supervisors and other target users. Translate findings into clear product outcomes and prioritised opportunities.

Assess market, competitor, regulatory and technology trends relevant to brokerage products and servicing. Convert analysis into practical recommendations, investment choices and roadmap decisions.

Partner with Product Owners and Agile delivery teams to define epics, features, acceptance outcomes and non-functional requirements. Maintain a healthy, prioritised backlog that is ready for delivery.

Set PI vision, objectives and priorities. Participate in PI planning, refinement, demonstrations, retrospectives and other Agile ceremonies as appropriate.

Lead cross-functional discovery across business, operations, user experience, architecture, engineering, data and risk partners. Use prototypes, process maps, data analysis and user feedback to validate solutions before significant investment.

Shape solutions implemented through .NET and C#, SQL Server, Azure services, Python, low-code platforms and workflow technologies. The Product Manager is not expected to be the primary developer, but must be sufficiently technically fluent to challenge assumptions, understand dependencies and make informed trade-offs.

Define product requirements for workflow and case-management solutions, including intake, routing, prioritisation, approvals, work queues, service-level tracking, exception handling, notifications, audit history and management reporting.

Ensure product design supports secure access, appropriate segregation of duties, data protection, records retention, traceability and evidence required in a regulated brokerage environment.
