As the Business Solutions and Automation Lead, you will serve as the business and technical bridge for our Commercial Excellence organization, helping turn complex business needs into practical, scalable applications and automation solutions. You will partner with leaders across Pricing, Graphics, Sales Operations, Customer Service, Sustainability, Analytics, Sales, and Finance to understand business challenges, identify the right solutions, and translate requirements into clear direction for developers and technology teams.

You will guide initiatives from discovery through deployment and adoption, helping prioritize opportunities that improve productivity, reduce errors, and simplify commercial processes. You will also lead and develop a team focused on business solutions and automation while promoting strong cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement.

Partner with business leaders and end users to understand underlying business needs, define desired outcomes, challenge assumptions, and identify practical, high-value solutions.

Lead process discovery and solution design by mapping current workflows, decisions, handoffs, pain points, controls, and data needs, then helping define improved future-state processes.

Translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements, including user stories, process maps, data requirements, acceptance criteria, interfaces, exception paths, and implementation needs.

Evaluate solution options and recommend the right approach, considering business value, customer impact, technical feasibility, effort, risk, dependencies, and available enterprise tools.

Guide application and automation initiatives end to end, partnering closely with developers and IT from discovery and design through testing, deployment, adoption, support, and continuous improvement.

Partner with IT on architecture and deployment requirements, including integrations, APIs, environments, identity and access, cybersecurity, data privacy, release management, infrastructure needs, and production support.

Lead and develop the Business Solutions and Automation team, setting priorities, allocating work, coaching team members, building capabilities, and driving accountability for business outcomes.

Drive continuous improvement across Commercial Excellence by identifying opportunities to improve productivity, reduce errors and manual work, standardize processes, improve data quality, and prioritize the highest-value automation opportunities.

Strong business acumen and the ability to understand complex functional processes, identify root business needs, and translate them into practical solution requirements.
