Position: FullTime Family Assistant in Fourth Ward for Two Children Ages 1 and 3 Years Old

Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Fourth Ward in finding a Full-Time Family Assistant for their family of four, including their two daughters, ages 3 and 1. The Family Assistant would typically be needed Monday - Thursday, 1:00 pm - 8:30 pm, 30 hours a week.

This schedule can be adjusted based on the Family Assistant’s availability and may include some Friday hours instead of four longer days. The family is flexible with House Management hours but requires childcare coverage beginning at 4:00 PM through dinner and bedtime. Occasional travel with the family would be a plus, but is not required.

The best Family Assistant for this family would be consistent, reliable, and dependable above all else. This family places a high value on punctuality, follow-through, and stability, as consistency is essential to their daily routine. They are seeking someone who genuinely takes an interest in the children and family and is committed to building a long-term relationship, becoming a trusted and valued part of the family.

When the Family Assistant arrives each day, House Management responsibilities will be the primary focus, including meal prep, organizing, running errands, and helping keep the home running smoothly. Childcare responsibilities will begin at 4:00 PM each day. The children typically nap until 3:30 - 4:00 PM, followed by a snack and playtime both at home and in the community, such as visiting the neighborhood park and participating in age-appropriate activities.

Dinner is typically served around 6:00 PM, with bedtime occurring between 7:00 and 8:00 PM. During the afternoon and evening hours, it is essential that the children are the top priority, ensuring their needs are met and that they are prepared for the next day. The family would also like the Family Assistant to tidy up after the children at the end of each day and ensure the home is organized and in order before the following day.
