Experienced Project Engineer – Heavy Civil Construction

** Position Overview
** As an
** Experienced Project Engineer**, you will play a critical role in supporting project management and field operations. You will work closely with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure successful execution of complex civil construction projects.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating project activities.
* Prepare and review project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
* Monitor project progress and provide technical support to field teams.
* Ensure compliance with safety standards, specifications, and quality requirements.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve design and construction challenges.
* Track costs, quantities, and production to maintain project budgets.
* Support procurement of materials and subcontractor services.
** Qualifications
* ** Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
* ** 3+ years of experience
** in heavy civil construction projects (highways, bridges, utilities, etc.).
* Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and industry standards.
* Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6) and MS Office Suite.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
** Preferred Skills
*** Experience with DOT projects and public infrastructure.
* Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental compliance.
* Familiarity with estimating and cost control processes.
