Job OverviewWe’re hiring a Project Manager & Estimator to lead commercial construction projects from bid through completion. This hands‑on dual role is ideal for someone who can accurately price work and then execute projects efficiently — with a focus on drywall, metal stud framing, and acoustical ceiling systems across interior commercial builds.
Key Responsibilities Estimating- Analyze drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to prepare accurate takeoffs and cost proposals.
- Prepare and submit bids, budgets, change orders, and value‑engineering alternatives.
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain material pricing and quotes.
- Attend pre‑bid meetings and conduct site assessments when required.
- Maintain historical cost data and support subcontractor/vendor relationship development.
- Manage awarded projects from kickoff through closeout, ensuring on‑time, within‑budget completion.
- Schedule field crews and oversee job site logistics, material procurement, and subcontractor coordination.
- Lead weekly progress meetings with clients and internal teams.
- Track daily field reports, job costs, productivity, and safety compliance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Provide leadership with updated forecasts, progress tracking, and billing timelines.
- 3–5+ years of combined experience in estimating and project management.
- Experience in commercial interiors: drywall, framing, acoustical ceilings, or similar scopes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and submittals.
- Proven ability to manage multiple bids and active projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with takeoff/estimating tools (Plan Swift, Bluebeam, or similar) and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as collaborate with field teams.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, not required.
