Rodgers has an opportunity for an Assistant Superintendent in Charlotte, NC.
Requirements / Experience- 3-5 years of experience in commercial or healthcare construction (most of the time in the field).
- Adapts well to changes in work environment.
- Strong focus on conflict resolution.
- Proficient in document change and RFI management.
- Ability to maintain a high level of quality throughout.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong Leadership Skills.
- Ensure that all projects are performed in accordance with contract and quality standards.
- Maintain a safe, secure, clean and organized jobsite.
- Lead, direct, and coordinate the work of subcontractors.
- Maintain daily paperwork: timecards, field reports, RFIs and email coordinators.
- Coordinate with subcontractors for proper sequence of work and deliveries.
- Help train, mentor, and develop the skills of lower‑level project teammates.
- Fluent in operations of current project scheduling software.
- Enforce strict safety practices, which also includes completing accident and incident forms as necessary.
- Conduct safety orientations and weekly safety meetings.
- Understand and be able to implement building code requirements.
- Maintain or assist in maintaining material usage logs.
- Capable of collaboration with design team pertaining to construction documents.
- Participate in job progress meetings.
- Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency using various IT devices and programs: laptop PCs, tablets, MS Office.
- OSHA 10‑hour course required.
- Participate in field quality control.
- Complete Standards of Excellence quality checklists at appropriate times.
