PrimaryResponsibilities
- Generate detailed estimates based on an accurate reading of blueprints, quantity takeoffs and transfer data into HCSS Heavy Bid software.
- Reviews bid package documentation, plans, proposal and specifications to determine a scope of work.
- Work with staff to prepare RFPs, RFIs and subcontractor quotes.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in order to meet project deadlines.
- Strong detail orientation and analytical skill.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to multi-task a variety of projects/tasks simultaneously.
- Read and scale civil engineering plans.
- Understand the importance of quality and accuracy.
- Work Overtime/Weekends to meet project deadlines.
- Knowledge of HCSS estimating software, Bluebeam Revu, AGTEK.
- CAD experience a plus, but not required
