Pay Frequency: Weekly
Schedule: 50 Hours Per Week | Monday-Saturday
Join a contractor supporting the construction of a new Energy manufacturing facility in Charlotte, NC. Project scope includes mass concrete operations, concrete foundations, slab work, site development, and structural concrete construction activities.
The Construction Safety Coordinator will provide field safety support for concrete construction operations while working closely with the General Contractor, ownership team, subcontractors, and field supervision to ensure safe project execution.
Required Qualifications- OSHA 30 Construction Certification
- Minimum 3+ Years of Construction Safety Experience
- Manufacturing Facility Construction Experience
- Concrete Construction Safety Experience
- Industrial Construction Experience
- General Contractor Safety Experience
- CHST, ASP, CSP, OHST, STSC, or Other BCSP Credential
- Experience Supporting Owner-Driven Projects
- Provide daily field safety support for concrete construction activities
- Conduct routine site inspections, audits, observations, and hazard assessments
- Monitor excavation, concrete placement, formwork, rebar, and material handling operations
- Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), permits, and pre-task plans
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific safety requirements
- Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate corrective actions
- Provide field coaching and reinforce safe work practices with craft personnel
- Coordinate safety activities with the General Contractor, ownership team, and subcontractors
- Participate in incident investigations and corrective action implementation
- Maintain required safety documentation, inspection records, and compliance reports
- Support safety meetings and toolbox talks
- Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the project

Success in this role requires maintaining a visible field presence, proactively identifying hazards, building strong relationships with project stakeholders, and ensuring concrete construction activities are executed safely while supporting project quality and schedule objectives.
