Construction Project Manager

Sustainable & growing commercial retail construction firm located in Charlotte is looking to scale the team and hire a Senior Construction Project Manager. Individual will have full ownership to make decisions, so we're looking for someone that has an entrepreneurial spirit that enjoys leading projects start to finish.

Base $,000 + bonus (around $35,) and strong benefits with a 401K match

What you will do:

• Oversee the construction projects from start to finish.
• Execute project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed.
• Create the teams, develop the objectives/goals of each and assign individual responsibilities.
• Works closely with Superintendents to coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Project accounting functions including managing the budget, tracking of team expenses and minimizing exposure and risk in the project.
• Ensure that construction activities move according to pre-determined schedule.
• Devise the project work plans and make revisions as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with the contractors responsible for completing various phases of the project.
• Coordinate the efforts of all parties involved in the project, which include the architects, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors and laborers.
• Monitor the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meetings with all the sub-teams.
• Maintain strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines, quality and safety standards.
• Perform periodic inspection of construction sites.

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in construction projects.
• Ground up to finish experience in the retail or commercial space.
• Ability to accurately read building plans.
