What defines our next Sr. Product Designer...

Scentbird is looking for a visionary Sr. Product Designer to help conceive, wireframe, design, and implement all of our various product design initiatives within our CRO and Retention teams — leveraging AI tools to accelerate and elevate every stage of that process.

The perfect candidate will have a deep understanding of UX, partnered with deep problem solving skills, up-front research, a focus on up-front user testing, as well as the highest level of craft for UI design, creating beautiful, modern experiences for our customers.

This Sr. Product Designer will be responsible for developing engaging experiences within the CRO and Retention teams that allow ease-of-use within our community, while telling an immersive story and eliciting an emotional response from our customers through rich visual design, as well as focusing on conversion and retention profitability for the business. A self-driven, motivated UX visionary who is fluent in AI-assisted design workflows and sees them as a core part of modern craft, not a shortcut around it.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Product Design Director and larger design team to deliver ideas and experiences that create a visionary future Scentbird, while exceeding the expectations of our customers. Being part of a team of thinkers and doers, the right Sr. Product Designer will bring a mix of high-level problem solving through UX, creative vision through UI, an understanding of research, usability testing, A/B testing, business understanding, and applied AI fluency to the position — promoting our company from within and inspiring each team member they partner with.

We're looking for a person comfortable wearing many hats and managing multiple projects at one time. Someone that can inspire others, taking our creative experiences — and our creative process — to a new level, as we continue to grow.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:
  • Create and manage ongoing research for each product you own and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data (interviews, surveys, session recordings, support tickets) into actionable insights faster
  • Create and manage usability testing to prove initial work value before reviewing it with the larger team, incorporating AI-assisted analysis to identify patterns across test sessions.
  • Concept, design, and manage various product design initiatives from our quarterly roadmap, using AI-powered ideation to rapidly explore a wider range of directions before committing to a path, and also leveraging on-brand, vetted AI designs as well.
  • Understand areas of opportunity for higher levels of engagement with our customers, using AI to help surface trends and opportunities from research and product data.
  • Lead reviews by articulating your ideas and vision, so all partners can understand the path and know how to enhance the designs/experience. Know how to manage multiple projects at one time, effortlessly.
  • Align with our Director to establish best practices when it comes to research, testing, UX, UI, and AI tooling, and how to manage internal processes with the Marketing, Copy, Dev, and Creative teams
  • Gather design inspiration and be a leader in sharing new ideas/designs that can help push our UX and UI designs to new levels of fidelity.
  • Be the steward of our design components library, creating the vision, design, layout, and rationale on how we use any new design components, including how AI tools can help scale and maintain it.
  • Work with product owners to help understand all the scopes of work, plus any surveys, customer interviews, and usability testing, so that these may…
