Move Consultant (Inbound Sales & Customer Service)

Charlotte, NC | $20/hour + bonuses | Full-Time

We’re looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Move Consultant (formerly Customer Service Representative) to join our office team. This isn’t your typical call center or CSR role. When people call us, it’s because they need help — often during a stressful time.

Your job is to guide them through their moving experience with care, confidence, and clarity.

• Answer inbound calls (no cold calling) from customers looking to schedule a move
• Build rapport quickly—ask the right questions and listen with empathy
• Provide accurate quotes and walk customers through the process
• Input customer info into our system while you talk (multitasking is key!)
• Ask for the sale—clearly and confidently, without being pushy
• Follow up to ensure everything goes smoothly before and after the move
• Stay informed on our services, promotions, and systems so you can offer the best solutions
• Support your team—because we win together

• A great communicator—friendly, professional, and clear on the phone
• Detail-oriented—you catch the small stuff others miss
• Comfortable on the phone all day and working at a computer
• Motivated to help people, not just close deals
• A natural multi-tasker who stays cool under pressure
• Sales-savvy but never pushy

• 1+ year of customer service or inside sales experience
• High school diploma or GED (associate’s degree is a plus)
• Basic computer skills (we’ll train you on our software)
• Able to pass a background check and drug screen

• $20/hour starting pay, paid weekly
