JOB SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of the Credit Compliance and Operations Manager, the Call Center Representative position is responsible for servicing all aspects of the Cato credit card and eCommerce orders. Responds to consumer and store inquiries regarding the Cato credit card accounts and Online orders performing specific duties as requested.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responds to customer and store inquiries regarding eCommerce billing, tracking, and troubled order inquiries.
- Respond to customer and store inquiries regarding the customers’ Cato Credit Card Account.
- Work under pressure and meet deadlines in a professional manner and maintain adequate speed and efficiency in accordance with departmental guidelines.
- Provide prompt and accurate authorization decisions.
- Perform maintenance activities on accounts as needed.
- Perform monetary transactions on credit accounts, as necessary.
- Utilize accepted collection techniques in accordance with company and Fair Debt Collection Practice Act guidelines to attempt to obtain payment from customers.
- Utilize and follow guidelines in accordance with the Cedar Hill National Bank Privacy Policy and the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA); such as completing suspicious activity referrals and updating CIP and CDD information when applicable.
- Respond promptly to customer phone and email inquiries.
- Process Internet Applications and pending store applications.
- Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Perform various other department duties and special projects as requested by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
Minimum, High School Diploma
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Previous telephone and Customer Service experience preferred. Retail and previous collection experience is beneficial.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
REQUIRED:
1. Strong verbal and written communication skills including a courteous, pleasant telephone voice.
3. Ability to work under pressure in a professional manner and customer service oriented.
5. Ability to complete work assignments on a daily basis and to meet deadlines.
