Job Summary

Your work will be informed and supported by in-house planners, airfield and building engineers, and environmental specialists to ensure that all aspects of any aviation facility are accounted for and integrated into the design.

This opportunity is seeking a senior level candidate with previous PM experience to work on Aviation related projects with a focus on work at Charlotte Douglas International Airport. Additional area of focus will be to aid and support across multiple projects to ensure these projects conform to the client's requirements. This position must be capable of implementing the necessary management techniques required to fulfill this responsibility for the specific project.

Essential Functions

  • Lead and contribute to the architectural design and development of medium to large-scale projects, applying foundational and advanced architectural concepts. Prepare and review detailed technical documentation, including drawings and specifications. Experience with a range of project types (e.g., commercial, institutional, transportation) is valued.
  • Work closely with clients to define project requirements and deliver design solutions that meet industry standards and client expectations. Prepare proposals and presentations, demonstrating your ability to address diverse project needs across various sectors.
  • Manage all aspects of project planning, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and external consultants to ensure project milestones are met. Experience in managing projects outside the aviation sector, such as commercial buildings, educational facilities, or large multi-family complexes, are applicable.
  • Mentor, guide and review the work of junior staff and technical team members to ensure accuracy and compliance with design standards. Conduct quality control reviews and field inspections to ensure alignment with architectural and engineering specifications. Experience in overseeing technical aspects of diverse project types is beneficial. Competency in cross discipline coordination is preferrable.
  • Oversee project progress, address issues, and make adjustments as needed to maintain alignment with architectural plans and regulatory requirements. Perform site visits and inspections to ensure construction quality and adherence to project specifications. Experience with large-scale projects in various industries will be considered.
