Position

Highlights

As Division Chief, you will lead a dedicated team of eight pediatric endocrinologists and two advanced practice providers serving Levine Children’s Hospital and Jeff Gordon Children’s Hospital, less than 30 miles from the main campus in nearby Concord, as well as four outpatient clinics across the Charlotte metropolitan area. You will drive innovation and excellence in the care of complex endocrine and metabolic conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, growth and puberty abnormalities, and hormone‑secreting tumors, supported by a robust team of dieticians, educators and social workers.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise physicians and APP’s
  • Develop and oversee clinical programs and satellite outpatient clinics
  • Expand the division’s quality improvement initiatives
  • Participate in hospital, system, and department committees
  • Mentor faculty in leadership, clinical, and academic development
  • Engage in education for medical students, pediatric residents, and faculty
  • Share call and inpatient consult duties balanced with outpatient care
Qualifications
  • Board certification in Pediatric Endocrinology
  • A proven track record of leadership and mentorship
  • Commitment to clinical excellence, education and research
  • Academic achievements to support appointment as Associate or Full Professor with Wake Forest University School of Medicine
