Amergis Staffing is seeking School Based 1:1 Behavioral Tech's to come work at an amazing School District in the greater Charlotte, NC area. The Behavior Technician works to facilitate educational and behavioral services with children and adults with special needs and collaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives.

• 2025-26 School Year
• Weekly pay
• Up to 40 hours per week
• ASAP start

• 1:1 with EC/SPED students with extreme/severe behaviors
• Monitor behaviors to help limit/prevent outbursts
• Assist student with school assignments to aid in their academic growth/development
• Bus monitoring may be required on as needed basis

• Must have experience working in a 1:1 behavioral setting (ABA, behavioral/psych, school, etc.)
• Must have experience with extreme/severe/violent behavioral cases
• Physical/Verbal aggression and violence, elopement
• Must be comfortable with ABA strategies
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
