- Developing and/or updating course syllabus, preparing lectures, projects, or other student assignments.
- Meet all designated class periods and maintain regularly scheduled office hours.
- Grade student assignments and exams in a timely manner.
- Submit completed mid-semester progress reports and final grades according to University regulations.
- Teach temporary courses for the specified semester(s); these positions do not accrue benefits.
- Faculty teaching undergraduate courses: doctorate or master’s degree in the teaching discipline or a master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline.
- Faculty teaching graduate courses: earned doctorate/terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline.
- Consideration given to undergraduate and graduate degrees, related work experience in the field, professional licensure and certifications, honors and awards, and demonstrated teaching excellence.
- Applicants must provide an official transcript of the highest earned degree.
- Applicants must undergo a criminal background check.
