Are you passionate about supporting learners to achieve their goals? Do you have experience within dental education, assessment, or vocational training?

We're looking for an organised, supportive and motivated NEBDN Tutor/Assessor to join our Commercial Courses team. In this rewarding role, you'll guide learners through their NEBDN programme, providing assessment, coaching and ongoing support to help them successfully complete their qualification.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced assessor who enjoys building relationships, monitoring learner progress and making a real difference to learners' professional development.

What You'll Be Doing

As an NEBDN Tutor/Assessor, you will:

  • Assess and mark learner Portfolio of Evidence (POE) submissions.
  • Provide timely, constructive feedback to support learner achievement.
  • Conduct learner inductions and explain programme requirements.
  • Deliver one-to-one support sessions and professional discussions.
  • Monitor learner progress and proactively support those who require additional intervention.
  • Build positive relationships with learners, practice managers and clinical witnesses.
  • Produce learner progress reports and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and support continuous improvement.
  • Attend weekly team and management meetings.
  • Ensure learners stay on track towards their planned completion dates.
What We're Looking For
  • Level 3 Assessor Qualification.
  • Experience with in a dental, clinical education, or vocational training environment.
  • Strong understanding of learner assessment and evidence requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisation, administration and record-keeping abilities.
  • Experience providing learner support and constructive feedback.
  • Ability to manage multiple learners and competing priorities.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Teams, email and online systems.
  • A proactive, learner-focused approach with excellent attention to detail.
