Associate Director of Scientific Communications Strategy & Excellence, leading integrated engagement planning across therapeutic areas for Alnylam's medical ecosystem.
Responsibilities- develop and advance scientific communication strategies
- orchestrate medical engagement channels
- partner with cross-functional teams (Medical Affairs, Communications, Legal, Digital)
- establish governance frameworks, and utilize data and emerging digital trends to optimize stakeholder engagement
- Manage vendors, budgets, and performance metrics to ensure measurable outcomes
- MD, PharmD, PhD, or advanced scientific degree with 7+ years of experience in Medical Affairs, Scientific Communications, or related biopharma fields;
- expertise in scientific engagement, medical digital ecosystems, and compliant dissemination of information
- familiarity with platforms like Veeva Vault, Power BI, GA4, Snowflake, and content management systems.
- focus on RNAi therapeutics, with emphasis on strategic omnichannel engagement, stakeholder behavior change, and digital innovation in medical communications.
Remote work with primary location in Cambridge, MA; no travel specified.
