Lead Teacher – $500 Sign-On Bonus

We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and dedicated Lead Teacher to join our team!

As a Lead Teacher, you will take an active leadership role in your classroom by implementing curriculum, maintaining a safe and organized learning environment, supporting children's developmental needs, communicating with families, and working collaboratively with your teaching team.

As a Lead Teacher, You Will
  • Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, positive, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Take ownership of the daily operation, organization, and overall success of your classroom.
  • Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and learning experiences that support children's social, emotional, physical, language, and cognitive development.
  • Plan and facilitate engaging classroom activities while ensuring curriculum expectations are consistently met.
  • Support each child's individual needs, developmental milestones, routines, and learning goals.
  • Encourage independence, curiosity, communication, creativity, and positive social interactions.
  • Maintain active supervision and ensure all required teacher-to-child ratios are followed at all times.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and support to Assistant Teachers and other classroom staff.
  • Build positive and professional relationships with children, families, coworkers, and center leadership.
  • Communicate regularly with families regarding their child's daily experiences, developmental milestones, accomplishments, and classroom activities through our mobile app and personal conversations.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, welcoming, and developmentally appropriate classroom.
  • Follow all center policies and procedures as well as applicable state licensing, health, and safety requirements.
  • Complete required classroom documentation, assessments, lesson plans, and other records accurately and on time.
  • Serve as a positive role model and contribute to a professional, supportive, and team-oriented center culture.
Lead Teacher Requirements

Applicants MUST meet the following requirements:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field is REQUIRED.
  • Previous professional experience working with children in a licensed early childhood education or childcare setting.
  • At least six months of professional teaching experience required; one year or more preferred.
  • Ability to successfully lead and manage a classroom.
  • Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices for young children.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and classroom-management skills.
  • Dependable, professional, patient, energetic, compassionate, and creative.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with families, teachers, and center leadership.
  • Ability to meet all applicable state childcare licensing requirements.
