The Program Coordinator – Guaranteed Admissions & Transfer Partnerships is responsible for coordinating guaranteed admission processes, transfer partnership initiatives, student engagement activities, and transfer-related events. This position supports the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of transfer partnership processes while incorporating a Guided Pathways approach to ensure a seamless transition for students completing transfer degrees and matriculating to partner institutions.
1. Develop, maintain, and manage data for all student cohorts participating in guaranteed admission and direct admission transfer partnership programs.
2. Compile and provide aggregate enrollment, registration, and academic progress data to partner institutions in accordance with articulation agreements and partnership requirements.
3. Coordinate departmental transfer events, including the Fall College Fair, Spring College Fair, Transfer Tuesdays, and other transfer-focused programming.
4. Serve as the primary reviewer of prospective applicants through secure institutional and partner platforms.
5. Present information on guaranteed admission and transfer partnership opportunities to internal and external audiences.
6. Represent the department through outreach activities, including classroom presentations, departmental meetings, student affairs events, and community engagement initiatives.
7. Coordinate and facilitate regular meetings with transfer partners to strengthen institutional relationships and support collaborative initiatives.
8. Develop and coordinate targeted programming for direct admission cohorts.
9. Coordinate and participate in student engagement activities, including travel to partner institutions and off-campus events as needed.
10. Support a team of advising professionals in implementing student engagement initiatives and transfer partnership activities.
11. Serve as a liaison with Academic Affairs and collaborate with faculty and campus partners to connect students with mentors, career pathways, and academic opportunities.
12. Develop expertise in transfer partnership pathways, Guided Pathways, institutional systems, and transfer processes, and share knowledge through training, collaboration, and presentations.
13. Manage the Academic Advising Transfer Partnerships mailbox and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
14. Coordinate and communicate logistics for transfer partnership visits and maintain the department's transfer partnership calendar.
15. Attend and actively participate on transfer partnership committees and advisory boards.
16. Utilize the College's customer relationship management (CRM) system and communication tools to develop and implement targeted outreach campaigns.
17. Collect, analyze, and assess data to evaluate the effectiveness of transfer programming and student engagement initiatives.
18. Participate in ongoing professional development and comprehensive advisor training.
19. Participate in departmental and institutional assessment, planning, and annual performance evaluation processes.
20. Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Student Services, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Education, or a related field, and one to two years of college-level academic advising or student services experience; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:- Strong organizational, event planning, and project coordination skills.
- Knowledge of college policies, procedures, and student support services.
